Woman removed from missing list Canadian Press Thursday, May 26, 2005 VANCOUVER (CP) -- Police have removed a woman from Vancouver's list of missing women after she was found in Central Canada. Tammy Heather Fairbairn, who was reported missing last December, was added to the list after having lost contact with her family in 1998 by the RCMP's missing women's task force. Fairbairn is living somewhere in Central Canada, police said. "She was not aware that she had been reported missing," the RCMP said in a news release. The removal of her name leaves 68 women on the list, plus three unidentified DNA profiles found at Robert Pickton's farm in nearby Port Coquitlam. Pickton is charged with the first-degree murder of 27 of the women after 12 additional murder charges were added on Wednesday. © Canadian Press 2005 Tammy Fairbairn
