Vancouver's Downtown Eastside Missing Women

Sereena Abotsway born Aug 20, 1971 was last seen Aug 1, 2001 and reported missing Aug 22, 2001. Robert Pickton has been charged with her murder. Mona Wilson, 26, disappeared late last year in 2001 and Pickton is accused of murdering her sometime between Dec. 1 and Feb. 5 -- the day police arrived to search his family's pig farm on Dominion Avenue in Port Coquitlam. Jacquilene McDonell born 1976 was last seen Jan 16, 1999 and reported missing Feb 22, 1999. Robert Pickton has been charged with her murder. Dianne Rock born Sept 2, 1957. She was reported missing in October, 2001. Pickton is accused of killing her sometime between Oct. 19, 2001 when she was last seen, and Feb. 5, 2002. Heather Bottomely born Aug 17, 1976 and was last seen April 17, 2001 and reported missing April 17, 2001. Robert Pickton is accused of killing Heather between March 21, 2001 and Feb. 5. Andrea Joesbury born Nov 6, 1978 was last seen June 6, 2001 and reported missing June 8, 2001. Pickton has been charged with her murder. Joesbury, was 22 when she went missing, has also been identified by police as Angela.

Doroth Purcell knew there was something wrong when her daughter didn't come home, but Val Hughes said her friend received little cooperation from Vancouver police when she tried to make a missing person report. Sherry Irving born Mar 19, 1973 was last seen April 1997 and reported missing March 21, 1998. Pickton was charged with the murder of Sherry Irving last Wednesday, after DNA tests confirmed that her remains were found at Pickton’s pig farm, according to the RCMP. Inga Hall born 1952 was last seen Feb 26, 1998 and reported missing Mar 3, 1998. Pickton is expected to be charge with her murder. Marnie Frey born 1973 and was last seen Aug 1997 and reported missing Sept 4, 1998. Robert Pickton is expected to be charged with her murder. Tiffany Drew born Jan 13, 1975 was last seen Dec 31, 1999 and reported missing Feb 8, 2002. Tiffany's remains have been identified at the Pickton farm. Sarah deVries born May 12, 1969 went missing April 14, 1998 and was reported missing April 21, 1998. Her DNA was found on the Pickton Farm. Pickton is expected to be charged with her murder.

Ms. Laliberte is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, has brown hair, brown eyes and is Native Indian. She often uses the alias Kim KELLER. Ruby Anne HARDY, age 37, born on March 23, 1965. Ms. Hardy was last seen in 1998 and was reported missing to Vancouver police yesterday, March 27th, 2002. She is described as being 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 131 pounds, having brown hair and eyes and being Native Indian. She often uses the name 'Ruby GALLOWAY'. Elsie Sebastian disappeared in 1992. Yvonne Marie Boen also known as Yvonne English born Nov 30, 1967 and vanished Mar 16, 2001. YVONNE MARLENE ABIGOSIS Last seen: Jan. 1, 1984 Reported Missing: May 22, 2002. Elizabeth Chalmers was last seen on Feb. 22, 1999, and reported missing the following day. She was 53 at the time of her disappearance. Chalmers, a white woman who is 5'8" and 140 lbs. had long, blond hair.

Lenora Elizabeth Olding had just turned 19 when she was last seen leaving her Vancouver residence on Oct. 16, 1986. The young woman was not connected to the sex trade or drugs, but police are hoping to uncover new leads in the long- unsolved disappearance. Olding is caucasian, 5'5" tall and weighing about 130 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Verna Littlechief, who was originally from Saskatchewan, was working in the sex trade in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside when she was last seen in 1978 at the age of 34. Littlechief, an aboriginal woman also known as Bernie Roberts, was about 5'2" and struggled with an alcohol problem. Marilyn Ann Moore, who was also 34 when she was last seen on April 11, 1985, had a drug problem, but was not believed to be working in the sex trade. She was reported missing on June 25, 1986, after relatives living in the U.S. visited Vancouver to find her without luck. Moore, a caucasian female, is 5'6" tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes. TERESA LOUISE TRIFF Last seen: April 15, 1993 Reported Missing:March 21, 2002 Found Safe Sheryl Donahue, originally from Victoria was last seen in 1985. Donahue, was born July 4, 1963. She was reported missing Aug. 31, 1985. Donahue is Caucasian, five feet, four inches tall. She has blue eyes and when last seen weighed 166 pounds and had long, blond hair.

She was reported missing in July 2002. She is white, 5'-3", 120 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. A woman, feared to be a victim of accused serial killer William Pickton, may in fact be in an Edmonton-area graveyard, dead of a natural cause. Cara Louise Ellis, who was 25 when last seen in 1996. She was reported missing in October 2002. She is white, 4'-11", 106 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She has several tattoos including a heart on her left hand, a playboy bunny on the left side of her chest and a rose on her left shoulder. Ellis is also know by the name Nikki Trimble.
