Ontario link checked in B.C. killings
By SUN MEDIA
TORONTO -- The RCMP have widened their probe into an alleged serial killer, who
may be responsible for the disappearance of 50 Vancouver street prostitutes, to
Ontario.
The Mounties were yesterday interviewing for the second time a Brampton man who
came forward after recognizing some of the victims from newspaper articles.
"This person could hold an important part of the case," Const. Howard Adams said
yesterday. "Hopefully, his information will help us build our case."
Pig-farmer Robert William Pickton, 52, has been charged with the first-degree
murders of seven of the missing women. His preliminary hearing begins Nov. 4 in
B.C.
