VANCOUVER EASTSIDE MISSING WOMEN |
|
|
NEVER TO FORGET Someone’s
stealing women Right
up off the street Down
around the
part of town Where
main and hastings
meet
This
sociopathic hunter Selects
his human
prey And
like the wind is
never seen Carries
them away
He
leaves behind the
heartache A
trail of pain and
tears So
many lives affected
by The damage through the
years
They
held a ceremony To
dedicate a
bench In
a little park tucked
away From
the city’s stench
All
of them were daughters Some mothers shared their
pain In
a circle of friends
and family Soaked
in tears and
rain
Much
like that day, those
missing We’ll
keep without regret Within our hearts and
memories Never
to forget.
