MISSING WOMEN INVESTIGATION EXPANDS SEARCH

The Missing Women's Joint Task Force has confirmed they are scouring a
second piece of land in Port Coquitlam in the Vancouver missing women case.
Forensics experts and heavy equipment have swarmed onto a property on Burns Road, around the corner from accused serial killer Robert Pickton's pig farm.
The Burns Road property is jointly owned by brothers Robert and Dave
Pickton, and is home to the infamous booze-can called "Piggy's Palace".
A search warrant was executed early Wednesday morning, and it didn't take police long to fence it off and bring in portable offices.
Police can't say what led them to search this property-- or what they've found there so far.
But what they can say is the search of the 11 acre site will include a bus, a house, several outbuildings and some vehicles.
Constable Cate Galliford says seven to 12 officers will be searching-- and this investigation is of equal priority as the pig farm.
In the meantime, the joint task force has responded to news some of the
families of the missing women are taking them to court.
They say they're not concerned the legal action will damage their
relationship with the families, or the case for that matter.
