Police add 3 to list of missing women Vancouver police have added three more names to the growing list of women missing from the Downtown Eastside, renewing fears that a serial killer may be at work. The names of Dawn Teresa Crey, Brenda Ann Wolfe and Debra Lynne Jones bring to 31 the number of women missing from the area since 1984. Most of the missing were involved in the drug and sex trades, and the majority have vanished in the years since 1995. The Vancouver Police Department has assigned two homicide detectives to a joint task force with the RCMP to track what some suspect may be a number of killers preying in the area. To date, no bodies have been discovered --Êconfounding a hunt that dates back to 1999, when police announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to a suspect. Crey, 42, was last seen near Main and Hastings on Nov. 1. She was reported missing in early December. Wolfe, 32, was last seen in February 1999 and was reported missing in April 2000. Jones 34, was last seen on Dec. 21. She was reported missing on Christmas Day.
